USA Cycling is currently in search of a qualified individual to fill the role of High School and Collegiate Cycling Programs Manager. The High School & Collegiate Cycling Manager is a full-time salaried position within the USA Cycling Membership Department. The main objective of this position is to grow the number of members, sanctioned events and clubs in regards to high school and collegiate cycling. In addition, this position is also responsible for creating more awareness of the USA Cycling High School and Collegiate Cycling Program. This position is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Amongst the duties of this position are;
Work directly with the Membership Department on high school and collegiate related issues, to include but not limited to, collegiate clubs, promoters, events and licenses.
Develop two “Plan of Actions” for non-collegiate cycling schools and collegiate cycling schools to facilitate growth.
Work directly with road, track, mountain bike and cyclocross promoters to increase the number of sanction high school and collegiate events.
Create and disseminate communication and marketing pieces that promote high school and collegiate cycling with the end goal of increasing these membership numbers.
Develop and manage a high school (juniors) web page and a collegiate web page that further markets and grows these two entities.
Be able to present to various boards regarding the high school and collegiate cycling programs.
Be able to present at various summits regarding the high school and collegiate programs.
Work directly with the Results and Rankings Manager and the IT Department on enhancing and growing the Collegiate Cycling Results and Rankings Program.
Develop, plan and oversee an annual high school cycling summit.
Develop, plan and oversee high school national cycling championship events.
